Curlicue

PLANET

Curlicue have kept their supply chain within the UK to ensure a lower carbon footprint. They partner with Ecologi to offset their carbon emissions through tree planting, and also offer customers the option to offset their shipping emissions. Curlicue currently do not share their scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions, and we would like to see this alongside their plans for Net Zero.

PEOPLE

As both Curlicue and their supply chain is UK-based, we assume they adhere to UK employment regulations.

BUSINESS

Curlicue offers plastic-free wrapping paper made of recycled materials, reducing their environmental impact. They also sell ‘Wonky Wrap’ boxes which are a mixture of leftover products aimed to prevent waste. As a next step, we would like to see Curlicue release an annual impact report to increase their transparency surrounding their sustainability policies and practices, such as how they vet their suppliers and the measures that they have in place to protect the environment during production.
