UpCircle creates natural, organic beauty products from waste ingredients, such as blueberry extract and coffee grounds. Creating products from waste does lead to a smaller carbon footprint - despite this, however, we would like to see UpCircle outline their scopes 1, 2 and 3 emissions, as well as their plans to both eliminate these and reach Net Zero.
PEOPLE
UpCircle is a family-run business based in the UK. They regularly donate to a range of charities, including Refuge, a domestic abuse charity, and to The Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust, who tackle inequality in all forms.

UpCircle are Leaping Bunny certified and Vegan.
BUSINESS
UpCircle is a certified B Corp. They are committed to creating a circular economy, by transforming ingredients that would otherwise be discarded into natural, organic beauty products. They also offer refillables to help reduce waste. As a next step, we would love to see an annual impact report from UpCircle in order to increase their transparency in the way they communicate their sustainability policies and practices.
