Georgia Hardinge aim to keep their carbon emissions as low as possible during production through only using facilities in London or nearshore Europe. They currently do not track their scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions, and we would like to see this alongside their plans for Net Zero.
PEOPLE
Georgia Hardinge are a UK- and EU-based company, and therefore we assume they adhere to the employment regulations of both. They support charities and initiatives such as The Elephant Family, raising over £200,000 for wildlife conservation, and also raise awareness for the Beach Clean Network’s 2 minute beach clean initiative. As a next step, we would like to see Georgia Hardinge provide more information on who their suppliers are.

BUSINESS
Georgia Hardinge have collaborated with The Sustainable Angle to source materials that are produced in systems that reduce, recycle, reuse and treat water, are created using organic and regenerative principles, and reduce or eliminate waste at every step in the process. In the future, we would love to see an annual impact report to increase the transparency of Georgia Hardinge’s sustainability policies and practices, such as the exact materials they use and the measures that they have in place to protect the environment during production.
