PLANET

Goldfinger measures their carbon emissions and claims to have generated 1591.93 kg CO2E in 2022. They also aim to source timber with the lowest carbon footprint through prioritising reclaimed and local wood, and are transparent with the amount of imported materials that they use. In the future, we would like to see a clearer breakdown of their Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions, as well as any plans to reduce or offset these.

PEOPLE

Goldfinger is a UK based business, and therefore we assume they adhere to UK employment regulations.

BUSINESS

The use of reclaimed wood in Goldfinger’s furniture saves material that would otherwise be disposed of, and any virgin wood used in their products holds certifications to prove that the forests were sustainably managed. Goldfinger also engages with their local community in west London, supporting unemployed or at-risk youths through workshops and traineeships and running a regular People’s Kitchen.
