Ethica Diamonds are in the process of tracking, measuring and accounting for their direct and indirect emissions, Scope 1 and 2, and their supply chain or Scope 3 emissions. By the end of 2023 they are committed to being carbon-neutral or carbon-negative and have partnered with The Traceability Company to achieve this. They are careful to choose suppliers that are already using 100% renewable energy or offsetting and are third party verified. This means actively avoiding conflict metals and materials from questionable or illegal sources.

PEOPLE

Ethica Diamonds are a Living Wage Employer. They currently have an all-women team, and also donate to 1% for the Planet

BUSINESS

Ethica Diamonds are currently in the process of applying for B-Corp status. They work closely with suppliers who are SCS certified for recycled precious metals. They offer a lifetime guarantee on their Ethica Diamonds and a 5 year warranty on all new jewellery against manufacturing defects. As a next step, we’re looking forward to seeing their more granular data on their carbon emissions and their plan to reduce them by 95% to achieve Net Zero.
