PLANET
Cloth and Co. is committed to providing high quality, sustainably sourced clothing, ensuring all of their materials are 100% natural and biodegradable and have received the relevant certification. They are dedicated to limiting their and their suppliers’ water usage and have recently launched a regenerative agriculture programme in partnership with Amiha Agro. Going forward, we would like to see a breakdown of their Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions and their plans for reaching Net Zero.
PEOPLE
Cloth and Co. choose suppliers who adhere to their code of conduct and prioritise fair wages. They give back to their artisans through partnerships with Sewa Shram Shakti foundation, which is focused on the rehabilitation of female victims of sexual trafficking and violence through the provision of financial education and counselling.
ANIMALS
All of Cloth and Co.’s animal fibre suppliers have been RWS certified.
BUSINESS
Cloth and Co. are committed to providing a more sustainable alternative to consumers by minimising the amount of waste they produce. Down to the tags they use, all of their packaging is from renewable or recyclable sources. Their donation/recycling scheme with Upparel® increases the circularity of their business. We would like to see the publication of an impact report in the future.
