PLANET
BIB Wine have worked out that their boxed wine has a carbon footprint that is 10x lower than bottled thanks to their innovative packaging. They also work to cut down on their transport emissions through flat-packing their BIBs prior to filling. As a next step, we would like to see BIB report their scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions, and outline their plans for Net Zero.

BIB Wine are UK-based, and therefore we assume they adhere to UK regulations. BIB source from suppliers located in Europe.
ANIMALS
Most of BIB Wine’s products are vegan, and they offer a filter for this on their website.
BUSINESS
BIB Wine aim to reduce the carbon emissions of the wine industry and they make efforts to ensure their business is promoting sustainability where possible. They source from low intervention suppliers, with most of them using organic or biodynamic farming methods. BIB have also partnered with Enval to recycle old boxes, creating a closed loop, and to encourage customers to take part they have a freepost recycling scheme. As a next step, we would like to see an annual impact report from BIB Wine outlining their sustainability policies and practices, such as which organic and biodynamic certifications their suppliers hold.
