Wild is a carbon negative company. They offer carbon negative products by offsetting 1.5 times their emissions with their tree-planting partner ON A MISSION. To date, they've planted over 368,000 trees. We would prefer to see some Direct Air Capture in the mix here, but the extent of the tree planting is impressive. We would also like them to fully outline their scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions, in the interest of full transparency.
PEOPLE
Wild is a UK-based company, and therefore they work in line with UK employment regulations. They also offer all their employees access to a mental wellbeing support platform. In addition to this, they have donated over £50,000 to their charity partners.
ANIMALS
Wild are certified Cruelty Free and Vegan certified by the Vegan Society trademark.
BUSINESS
Wild are B Corp certified, which reflects their mission of using business as a force for good. They use bamboo, which can be composted or biodegraded, to protect their refills, and the packaging is 100% recyclable, biodegradable and compostable. Wild’s whole supply chain is Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified, and their paper mills are run on hydroelectric power.
