Who Gives a Crap track and report their scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions. Their carbon footprint is third-party verified, and they are working towards offsetting it in partnership with Pachama. As a next step, we would like to see Who Gives a Crap share their plans for reaching Net Zero.
PEOPLE
Who Gives a Crap champion diversity and inclusion, and over 40% of their senior positions are occupied by women. They donate 50% of their profits to ensure that everyone has access to clean water and a toilet within our lifetime. Their partners in China are also BSCI certified, ensuring that the workers are treated well.
BUSINESS
Who Gives a Crap are B-corp certified. They have worked with a specialist sustainability firm to estimate how much CO2 is released into the atmosphere because of their products. As a next step, we would like to see Who Gives a Crap share their annual reports on their website to increase the transparency of their sustainability policies and practices.
