PLANET

Nyetimber grow their crops in the UK with minimal intervention and reduce transport emissions through using a local pressing centre. They do not currently report their emissions, and we would like to see this from them in the future.  

PEOPLE

Nyetimber are based in the UK, and therefore we assume that they adhere to UK employment regulations. They provide their employees with health-related services and an assistance programme. Nyetimber support the South Downs National Park Trust, and also support their local community through donations, tasting sessions, hosting events, and supporting fundraising activities.  

BUSINESS

Nyetimber have partnered with other English wine producers to find ways to increase productivity and product quality whilst reducing dependence on chemicals for their vineyards. They are also currendly working towards accreditation with LEAF. As a next step, we would like to see Nyetimber produce an annual impact report to increase the transparency of their sustainability practices, such as further information on how they keep their wine bottles sustainable.
