PLANET
Little Green Radicals’ use of 100% organic cotton reduces their environmental impact as well as their carbon footprint. GOTS organic cotton reduces the use of hazardous synthetic pesticides and fertilisers, keeps rivers, lakes and drinking water cleaner, and leads to 46% less greenhouse gas emissions than non-organic cotton. As a next step, we would like to see Little Green Radicals fully outline their carbon emissions, across Scopes 1, 2 and 3, as well as their plans to reduce these and reach Net Zero.
PEOPLE
Little Green Radicals was one of the first UK companies to use Fairtrade cotton, this ensures that farmers, their families and the communities who grow the cotton are paid a fair living wage.
ANIMALS
Little Green Radicals use no animal products.
BUSINESS
Little Green Radicals champion circularity through having joined forces with pre-loved baby and children’s clothing library SuperLooper to keep their clothes in circulation for longer. As a next step, we’d love to see an annual impact report from Little Green Radicals to see how their emissions break down across their supply chain and what concrete steps they are taking to reduce them.
