Leaf Shave are Carbon Neutral Certified, offsetting 100% of their company’s emissions from raw materials to delivery through verified projects that meet the Climate Neutral Standard. They are partnered with Climate Neutral for third party certification. As a next step, we would like to hear Leaf Shave’s plans to reach Net Zero.

Leaf Shave are based in the US, and we therefore assume that they adhere to US employment regulations. However, we would like to see Leaf Shave provide more information on who their suppliers are.
BUSINESS
Leaf Shave promotes circularity by reducing waste — they estimate that Leaf Shave users will keep more than 3 million disposable plastic razors out of landfill this year. They also have a blade takeback program that lets you send used blades back to Leaf Shave for recycling through scrap metal streams. Leaf Shave uses metal in their razors, but they do not clarify what metal they use and whether it is from a sustainable (e.g. recycled) source. As a next step, we would like to see an annual impact report from Leaf Shave outlining their sustainability policies and practices, such as how they vet their suppliers and the measures that they have in place to protect the environment during production.
