Frugi ❀

Frugi’s designs are popping with colour and we love that many have a nature theme. Their organic clothing ranges from new-born babies to girls and boys up to 10 years, and they also do breastfeeding wear for mums everywhere.

PLANET

Frugi uses GOTS certified organic cotton which produces 94% less CO2 emissions than standard cotton. They currently do not track their scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions, and we would like to see this alongside their plans for Net Zero.

PEOPLE

Frugi is a UK-based company, and therefore we assume they adhere to UK employment regulations. As a next step, we would like to see Frugi provide more information on who their suppliers are.

ANIMALS

Frugi do not use any animal products.

BUSINESS

In addition to GOTS certified cotton, Frugi use recycled polyester and source conversion cotton from farmers who are in the process of obtaining their organic certification, helping them to move away from conventional farming methods. Frugi are certified by the Circular Textiles Foundation, and they offer a range of clothing designed to be recycled back into clothes alongside a Recycle Me program to send worn clothes back to them. As a next step, we would like to see an annual impact report from Frugi outlining their sustainability policies and practices, such as the measures that they have in place to protect the environment during production.
