Clothes Doctor offers a range of products to help prolong the life of your clothes; by extending their use by 9 months, their carbon, water, and landfill footprint can be reduced by up to 30%. Clothes Doctor currently do not track their scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions, and we would like to see this alongside their plans for Net Zero.
PEOPLE
All Clothes Doctor products are British made, and therefore we assume that they adhere to UK employment regulations. As a next step, we would like to see Clothes Doctor provide more information on who their suppliers are.
ANIMALS
All of their clothing care products are vegan. As a next step, we would like to see certification of their cruelty-free status, such as Leaping Bunny.
BUSINESS
All of their eco-detergents are plant-derived and plastic-free, their aluminium packaging is infinitely recyclable, and they champion circularity by extending the life of clothes. In the future, we would love to see an annual impact report to increase the transparency of Clothes Doctor’s sustainability policies and practices, such as the agricultural methods used for their plant-derived ingredients.
