PLANET
Töastie Kids use recycled plastic waste and recycled down feathers to create super soft puffers and water-proof jackets. They are a carbon neutral company that works with Blue Marble through the Gold Standard 'Pacajai project' which prevents deforestation in the Amazon Rainforest. They use Noissue to plant a tree for every order. Shipping-wise they try wherever possible to ship their bulk product by sea freight rather than air freight.
PEOPLE
Töastie Kids have been audited by the world leading Sedex Ethical Members audit, and have an impressive Supplier Code of Conduct and Modern Slavery Statement on their website. Their team is female-led, and charity-wise they are members of 1% for the Planet, which means at least one percent of their annual revenue goes to environmental causes to protect the environment.
ANIMALS
Töastie Kid’s clothes are made from recycled down, which is largely collected from bedding, where the fabric holding the down is damaged, yet the feathers themselves remain in perfect condition.
BUSINESS
Töastie Kids are moving towards circularity with their pre-loved section, and we’re excited to see the expansion of this. Most of their production is in China but it is ISO50001 certified, which means their mills meet a high Environmental Management Standard while their suppliers are OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 approved. Their certifications are then independently audited and approved by Positive Luxury.
