PLANET
For the past two years, Subset have achieved Climate Neutral Certification, meaning that they have fully offset their emissions. They also work hard to reduce their energy use and emissions in areas that they can control, and use offsets to make an impact in the areas of their supply chain where they can’t.
PEOPLE
Subset is a US based company, and so we assume they adhere to US employment regulations.
ANIMALS
Subset does not use any animal products in their underwear.
BUSINESS
Subset use predominantly GOTS organic cotton which helps reduce their impact on the planet. In 2018, Subset launched the world’s first recycling program to save underwear, socks, bras and tights from ending up in the landfill. To date they have rescued over 500,000 items in total. As a next step, we would like to see Subset release an annual impact report in order to increase their transparency in the way they communicate their sustainability policies and practices.
