People Tree source GOTS-certified organic cotton, and try to ensure GOTS certification throughout their supply chain. This helps to reduce the environmental impact of their business. We would like to see People Tree fully outline their scopes 1, 2 and 3 emissions as well as their plans to eliminate these and reach Net Zero.
PEOPLE
People Tree are based in the UK, and therefore we assume they adhere to UK employment regulations. They source over 90% of their products and materials from Fair Trade (WFTO) groups.
ANIMALS
People Tree’s organic cotton, organic linen and TENCEL™ products are certified by PETA.
BUSINESS
People Tree are committed to sustainable manufacturing through their use of GOTS organic cotton. Their website has detailed information on their supply chain and materials. In addition to this, we would like to see an annual impact report from People Tree in order to increase their transparency in the way they communicate their sustainability policies and practices.
