PLANET
Evolve Beauty are working to minimise their emissions and are certified Carbon Neutral. They fully measure and offset their carbon footprint across Scope 1, 2 and Scope 3 - their supply chain. So far they have offset 577 tonnes of CO2 by supporting projects in the Amazon rainforest, safeguarding 578,000 square miles of Amazon rainforest. Evolve Beauty have committed to halving their carbon emissions by 2030 and achieving a Net Zero emissions by 2050. We’d like to see more ambition in arriving at Net Zero earlier. A majority of their beauty products are COSMOS organic or natural certified and we are pleased that they are committed to achieving 95% of products certified by the end of 2023.
PEOPLE
Evolve Beauty map out their entire supply chain from field to factory to ensure fair treatment for every person involved in making products - from the ingredient growers to UK team. They are living wage and living hours certified which means everyone is paid a real living wage and they do not use zero hours contracts.
ANIMALS
Evolve Beauty is certified by the Vegan Society and Leaping Bunny.
BUSINESS
Evolve Beauty is a certified B Corp, and they have a focus on circularity. 63% of their packaging contains some recycled content. They also offer plastic free refills on all 100ml products which has saved over 2000 pumps from landfill. We’re pleased to see that they are increasing the use of upcycled and regenerative ingredients in their beauty products, like the Kalahari Melon. We love how transparent their sustainability information is on their website, and are impressed by their annual impact report.
