Our carefully fostered community is home to the next generation of conscious businesses and impact investors.
Our Founder, Lucy Johnson, is a sustainable lifestyle consultant, working closely with affluent consumers who are keen to shop ethically and sustainably, in line with their luxurious lifestyles. As an experienced journalist with a strong network of media contacts, she is HELLO! Magazine’s first green columnist, The Green Coach, and a regular contributor to Country & Townhouse.

FAQs
+How much commission do you charge?
Commission is variable dependent on what your product is, which department it sits in, and whether you will cover postage costs or we will. We will negotiate this with you during the discovery and onboarding process and agree a rate across your product range. There are no onboarding or membership fees, so you only pay us when your products sell.
+What ethical & sustainable criteria do you look for?
We only stock products from brands that are B Corp, have the Positive Luxury Butterfly Mark or score 50% or over on the Green Salon sustainability assessment.

+There are so many marketplaces out there, what makes you different?
Lovebrook & Green is a department store, not a marketplace. We provide luxury concierge services such as personal styling and interior design to help affluent customers find the right products for them. We have invested heavily in an experiential online shopping environment and ‘Shop the Style’ curated collections to maximise conversion, and we are targeting wealthier demographics that are currently a relatively untapped market – with most marketplaces aiming at millennials. We also have a high impact partnership with a prominent luxury magazine, which means that, unlike other startup ecommerce sites, we’re not building our audience from scratch.
+How will you bring me sales?
Through our media partnership with Country & Town House Magazine, our targeted advertising strategy and our in-house digital marketing expertise, we will drive potential customers to your product listings. When they purchase, our software syncs to your existing ecommerce infrastructure via API, so orders come directly through your system for you to handle the packing and postage as you normally would when someone buys on your site. This keeps your stock levels up to date and makes managing your sales seamless and stress-free.
+Do I need professional images of my products to be accepted?
No. Please bear in mind, however, that we find clear, well-lit photography maximises sales. In our experience, images of products on mannequins or with black backgrounds do not work as well. Although your imagery doesn’t need to be professional, it does need to be high enough quality to match our luxury aesthetic.
+Who handles postage?
We operate a drop shipping model, so orders come through to your system for you to process them as you would any other order. We prefer our brand partners to cover postage costs, but in exceptional circumstances we can take these on for a higher commission.
+Who creates my product listings?
We know that creating listings is time consuming, and we’re here to make the process as straightforward as possible. We will create SEO-friendly listings for you, using the information publicly available on your website. You will sign these off before they go live, and we can give you access to update your own listings if you’d like more control.
+What are Lovebrook & Green's sustainability policies?
Lovebrook & Green and The Greenhouse are subsidiaries of Green Salon Ltd. We measure, track and account for all 3 Scopes through the SME Climate Hub and will produce our first impact report in 2025. We double offset any emissions that we can not currently reduce through a Verra certified programme, Just Carbon, funding nature restoration projects. Over 80% of our office supplies come from brands that are B Corp, have the Positive Luxury Butterfly Mark or score 50% or over on the Green Salon sustainability assessment.
